Paddle A Board Vacations offers a once-in-a-lifetime paddleboard adventure. Our 7 night/8 day vacation packages are designed for solo travelers, couples and groups, and start in either Calgary or Vancouver. Our packages include paddleboard rental, lifejackets, luxury SUV transportation, a professional tour guide, a certified Paddle Canada instructor, and a variety of accommodation with breakfast and lunch included. Plus, you'll receive a detailed pre-trip information package to get you ready for the experience of a lifetime.

Tour itineraries are listed below and based on 8 days.

Each day may be adjusted based on water levels and group paddling experiences.

What to expect...

Calgary to Vancouver

Day 1 - Saturday

Arrive at COAST Calgary Downtown Hotel. Relax and unwind. 6pm meet with your tour guide to go through what to expect each day - answer any questions.

Day 2 - Sunday

We set sail from Calgary by 8am and paddle board two lakes with lunch in between. We then check into the Malcolm Hotel, Canmore for our first night. Relax and unwind in the rooftop pool with glorious mountain views, or explore the town of Canmore, before or after we sit for dinner as a group

Day 3 - Monday

This day is full of exploring - get those walking legs in action as we will be doing a lot of it (or not) your choice. This day will have multiple options throughout and will be the majority vote for what we do. We will make it fair along the way and if there is something worth seeing, we will take you there! 

Camp Moose Trail will be our accommodation for the evening - prepare yourself for GLAMPING like you have never experienced before. Everything is handmade and locally sourced.

Day 4 - Tuesday

After a wake up to nature and a beautiful breakfast made from the host at Camp Moose Trail, we head out towards Revelstoke. Today is a day to explore waterfalls and paddle some hidden gems. We finish the day checking in to the historic Three Valley Chateau Hotel where you can also paddle until the evening sunset or face your fears with a ghost tour of the historic mining town. 

Day 5 - Wednesday

After our sleepless night (kidding) we hit the road again to paddle part of the Shuswap Lake and another lake into Vernon. Explore this quaint town at your own leisure and see how many murals you can capture. The Prestige Vernon Lodge Hotel is centrally located so you can walk into town.

Day 6 - Thursday

This day we hit Kelowna and paddle the Okanagan lake in the morning. We check in to the Prestige Beach front hotel and have free time to explore the town, paddle more or join a wine tour that we put on with a 3 course wine pairing meal to finish.

Day 7 - Friday

Longest drive of the trip as we head through the valley from Kelowna to Chilliwack. On route, we paddle a hidden gem before indulging on a picnic lake, and hitting up the last sunset paddle of the trip at Cultus Lake. We check in to COAST hotels and have dinner as a group for our last night - sharing memories from our trip.

Day 8 - Saturday

Before hitting Vancouver, we paddle one final lake together come rain or shine!

Tour ends at the Hotel Blu Vancouver Downtown by 4pm the latest.

Vancouver to Calgary

Day 1 - Saturday

Arrive at Hotel Blu Downtown Vancouver Hotel. Relax and unwind. 6pm meet with your tour guide to go through what to expect each day - answer any questions.

Day 2 - Sunday

We hit the road by 7:30am and paddle board two lakes with lunch in between in the Chilliwack and Fraser Valley region. We then check into Manning Park for our first night and enjoy dinner as a group.

Day 3 - Monday

Those of you that embrace the early mornings will love this - sunrise paddle 4am start! You will not be disappointed with how beautiful this hidden gem is and how much it has to offer. We refuel as a group over breakfast before hitting the road for our longest drive - stopping off a Hester Creek winery for a sample tasting and spot of lunch. We check in to Penticton Marriott hotel by the afternoon and have the option to sunset paddle or check out the local breweries with dinner put on by ourselves.

Day 4 - Tuesday

Short drive up to Kelowna to paddle in the morning. We check in to the Prestige Beach front hotel that is walking distance to the main core of Kelowna. Continue your day to explore the town and what the locals get up to, paddle all day if you choose, or join a wine tour with a 3 course pairing dinner to end your day. Wine tour is put on by us.

Day 5 - Wednesday

Breakfast is held at a local café in Kelowna - it's wacky, fun and full of history. This will be a place you tell your friends all about! We then hit up two other lakes before checking in to the quaint hotel of Prestige Vernon Lodge. Walking distance to the core of Vernon where you can check out murals along the way. 

Day 6 - Thursday

After checking out, we hit the road to explore Revelstoke and Golden. Options to face your fears this day with the pipe coaster in Revelstoke and the Golden Sky Bridge. This day will be filled with a lot of walking, so pack those walking boots - you will need them. Camp Moose Trail will be our place to crash, relax and totally unwind. Cook our own dinner in the homemade pizza oven or grill a steak on the homemade grill. You will be wanting s'more after you stay one night!

Day 7 - Friday

Our last full day is jam packed full of tasty food, waterfalls and paddling the breath taking views of the Alberta Rocky Mountains, before heading to the Malcolm hotel. Dinner will be as a group and either at the hotel or a local restaurant/pub (Canadian style).

Day 8 - Saturday

Why waste a good pool - relax - take your time - enjoy the view the hotel has to offer. Check out around 10:30am and head for our final hidden gem paddle, or continue to relax on the beach.

Tour ends at COAST Calgary Downtown by 4pm the latest.
