The Full Story

At the heart of everything we do is a simple belief: when people understand themselves better, they move through life with more confidence, clarity, and ease. Whether on the water or in everyday life, self-awareness shapes how we communicate, how we handle challenge, and how we connect with others.
 

Paddle A Board was created as more than a paddleboarding experience. It is a space where personal growth and outdoor adventure come together. Paddleboarding naturally places you outside your comfort zone. It asks for presence, trust, balance, and adaptability. These moments on the water become powerful opportunities to build confidence, regulate emotions, and develop resilience in a safe and supportive environment.
 

By integrating emotional intelligence practices into our paddleboarding experiences, we help individuals strengthen self-awareness, emotional regulation, and communication skills that translate far beyond the lake. What begins as learning to stand on a board often becomes a deeper understanding of how you respond to fear, uncertainty, and success; both personally and professionally.
 

Our Emotional Intelligence Wellness Program offers one-day, land-based retreats designed for meaningful self-reflection and personal growth. These experiences create space to slow down, reconnect, and better understand how you think, feel, and respond; both personally and professionally.
 

As a certified profiler, I offer EQ-i 2.0 and EQ-i 360 assessments for those wanting to explore deeper self-awareness. These reports provide clear insight into emotional strengths, communication patterns, and growth areas, supporting individuals, teams, and employers in building healthier dynamics and stronger leadership.
 

We also offer floating sound baths as part of our emotional intelligence work, using sound and stillness to support nervous system regulation and deepen awareness through the body. These experiences help bridge understanding from the head into felt experience, creating space for integration and calm.

My mission is to create experiences that combine adventure, self-discovery, and practical emotional intelligence tools. Paddleboarding sessions teach presence, balance, and resilience, while EQ assessments provide actionable insight into emotional strengths, interpersonal dynamics, and leadership potential. Each experience, on the water or on land, supports self-awareness, effective communication, and personal growth, helping individuals thrive in their personal lives, professional roles, and communities.

Through both paddleboarding and emotional intelligence work, I aim to create experiences that encourage exploration, connection, and growth. Whether on the water or in self-reflective assessment, my goal is to foster communities and teams where individuals feel supported, empowered, and able to step outside their comfort zones.
