The tours are customizable for individuals, groups, or couples.

Please note, all of my paddleboard tours are not guided lessons. While I am an expert guide and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, I do not provide paddle boarding instruction during the tour. I will however provide tips and answer any questions you may have along the way to add to your experience.

All of my sunrise and sunset tours take place from June to August and are based on minimum 4 people, unless a private tour of up to two people has been selected. If minimum numbers are not met, Paddle A Board Vacations will cancel the day before the tour providing 12 hours notice minimum with a full refund, or option to reschedule, or pay additional to make it private. Tours run for maximum 2 hours on the water. Times and dates vary depending on the time of sunrise and sunset. Transportation pick up and drop off is from Calgary Mid-town Co-Op two hours prior to being on the water. Waiver will be required to be signed at the time of booking.

What are some things we should consider to bring with us?When planning for your paddleboard trip, there are several important items to consider bringing with you. These include a change of clothes, a towel, a waterproof bag to keep your belongings dry, a waterproof phone case to protect your device, a waterproof camera like a GoPro to capture your adventure, snacks to keep your energy up, plenty of water to stay hydrated, a hat to protect you from the sun, sunscreen to shield your skin from UV rays, bug spray to ward off insects, and carabiners to attach items securely to your board. These items will help ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable paddling experience, allowing you to fully embrace the beauty of your surroundings while being prepared for any situation that may arise.

Do you provide payment plans? What do they look like?At Paddle A Board Vacations, we understand the financial commitment that comes with booking a tour or retreat. We do offer payment plans on a case by case basis to make it more manageable for our guests. A deposit is required at the time of booking, and the payment plan is then broken down over the course of the remaining months leading up to the tour or retreat. The balance is due no later than 2 weeks before the start of your tour/retreat. Our goal is to make the booking process as flexible and convenient as possible for our guests, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to join us for an unforgettable experience. What is the cancelation policy for Paddle A Board Vacations Lessons?At Paddle A Board Vacations, we understand that circumstances can change. If you need to cancel your lesson, we ask that you provide at least 72 hours notice so that we can offer the spot to another participant. If you cancel within 72 hours of the lesson, the booking is non-refundable. The 6 week lesson program is non-refundable at the time of booking. We want you to be committed. If you miss the first lesson, you would be required to book a basic skills lesson prior to the second lesson. Please reach out to our team as soon as possible to discuss any changes to your booking.

What happens if the minimum number of participants for a paddleboard lesson is not met?If your paddleboard lesson does not meet the minimum number of participants, the lesson will be cancelled and rescheduled. Alternatively, you will have the option to upgrade to a 1-1 lesson for an additional cost of $20 per person, with a maximum of 2 people for the price increase. This ensures that you still have the opportunity to enjoy a personalized lesson, even if it does not meet the initial group requirement. What reasons would Paddle A Board Vacations cancel our paddleboard lesson?The safety and well-being of our customers is our top priority. There are a few reasons why we may need to cancel a paddleboard lesson, with the primary factor being adverse weather conditions. We closely monitor the weather and will cancel a lesson if there are thunderstorms, lightning, hail, or tornado warnings in the area. These conditions pose significant risks to our customers and our staff. In the event of a cancellation, we will make every effort to reschedule your lesson for a later date or issue a refund as per our cancellation policy. We will not cancel the lesson if it is raining.
